We’re delighted that Kamala Harris and Tim Walz have emerged as the Democratic candidates for President and Vice President, and are campaigning with such purpose and vigor. We believe they share our values, especially on issues such as peace, democracy, choice, and environmental preservation. We’re fully motivated to get out the vote for their ticket!

This year we’re organizing in-person residential Election Retreats in both Nevada (retreat now full) and Wisconsin.  These will occur in October and November during the last two weeks of the election campaign.  In each location we’ll gather in a shared house and participate together in a morning program of meditation, a dharma talk, and a shared meal, and then spend our afternoons walking precincts to Get Out the Vote.   For more information and to register, click on the retreat location that interests you:

We have scheduled daily dharma talks for these retreats, from Saturday October 19 through Tuesday November 5.  The talks will occur at 10:15 AM Central Time, and will be offered by Taigen Dan Leighton, Reirin Gumbel, and Zenshin Florence Caplow.  You can listen to and watch these online:  for the Zoom link click HERE.
