“Writing letters to voters is one of the most effective ways to increase voter turnout.”  Vote Forward

This year we’re writing postcards to voters in Nevada, Wisconsin, and other key swing states — urging them to vote in the upcoming general election.  We’ll be targeting voters who we believe share our values, especially on issues such as peace, democracy, choice, and environmental preservation.

All postcard writing retreats are from 10 AM to 1 PM Pacific Time.

Register for our final Postcard Writing Retreat:

Sunday October 20 (speaker:  Chris Fortin)

In 2020 we held over a dozen letter-writing retreats in the months leading up to the 2020 General Election.  Nearly 700 of us got together online and wrote more than 30,000 letters to voters in swing states, including Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan and others.  We helped create a nationwide groundswell of support that elected a Democratic president, and later carried two Senatorial runoff elections in Georgia.
This year we plan to build on our past successes — though we’ll be switching to postcards.  After you register you’ll need to purchase 25 blank postcards from etsy.com, USPS or similar source.  We will email you a list of 25 voter addresses, and we’ll also email you a packet of materials, as in 2020, consisting of a Retreat Materials kit (Retreat Schedule, Guidelines, Chants); as well a  zoom link for the meeting.  Thanks for your participation, see you soon!
